The Classical Academy has just earned International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and now can offer IB classes to 11 and 12 graders as well as a specialized diploma for graduates who follow a certain set of IB curriculum. IB refers to both the Switzerland-based organization and its style of learning which is heavy on exploring other cultures and making connections between classes.

Schlosser's daughter Erika attended Fenton High School before she died last February just two days after her friend Briona Jawhari who attended Lake Fenton High School.

About 80 students packed over 10,000 bags of food with rice, soy, dried vegetables and dried chicken.
