Both were members of the church for several years before leaving to go to mission churches in Ainsworth and Swartz Creek respectively. Contestants are not allowed any artificial warming devices (hand warmers, electric socks, etc.) and must hold the hands of their fiancé with a tree between them at all times. For-Mar Nature Preserve is celebrating its 40th Anniversary and is giving away a free garden wedding as part of the grand prize as well as several other prizes from local businesses.
