Matt Dixon | The Flint Journal..Ken Makuch, owner and cook at Makuch's Red Rooster in Flint poses for a portrait. Behind him are two original paintings done by a past employee. Several barns were knocked down to create the building and to avoid confusion with another local restaurant, the name Red Rooster was chosen. Makuch has had a part in the restaurant since it was created in 1954.
