Matt Dixon | The Flint Journal..David Smith, 64, of Monrose covers up bike helemts with an umbrella while waiting to ride in the 11th annual Bikin' for Burns fundraiser at the Perani Arena in Flint Saturday. The area event is sponsored by American Bikers Aiming Toward Education (ABATE) of Michigan Region 20 as they seek to promote motorcycle safety while raise funds for fire prevention. This year's recipients will be the Swartz Creek and Durand Fire Departments.
