9-year-olds Sophie Woode and Trinity Sossong play on the corner of Grand Island Ave and College Street Wednesday afternoon. The Westlawn Elementary students decided while playing that they should raise money for a good cause. "By one get one free" sang the children as cars drove past. While they didn't raise much money or decide who to give it to, their school and the Central Nebraska Humane Society were two ideas, they had fun. (Independent/Matt Dixon)
