Rescue workers load a patient into an ambulance at the scene of a fatal car accident involving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala and a cattle truck Wednesday on U.S. Highway 34 west of S. Blaine Street in Grand Island. According to police, the Impala had been traveling east on Highway 34 when the vehicle's tires dropped off the edge of the road. The driver over corrected and the car spun on the highway where it was struck by the westbound truck. (Independent/Matt Dixon)
