Matt Dixon | The Flint Journal..Students take an exam during an IB (International Baccalaureate) Spanish class at the Classical Academy at Southwestern High School. The Classical Academy has just earned International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and now can offer IB classes to 11 and 12 graders as well as a specialized diploma for graduates who follow a certain set of IB curriculum. IB refers to both the Switzerland-based organization and its style of learning which is heavy on exploring other cultures and making connections between classes.
