Matt Dixon | The Flint Journal..Students from Ami Unger's second grade class at Siple Elementary in Davison take a brief tour of a mock outhouse while visiting the Kitchen School in Davison Wednesday afternoon. Named after Silas Kitchen, an early homesteader of Davison, The Kitchen School is hosting a program for Davison elementary school students, providing a one-room school-house learning experience. The school was founded in 1847 and moved to this building, which has been restored to a 1940s state, sometime between 1867 and 1870.
